Bilal Erdoğan: Politicians will run for their politics
TÜGVA High Advisory Board Member Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, regarding claims that he would enter politics, said, "Politicians will run for their politics. We will run for civil society in civil society. We will continue to do this, God willing."
Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) High Advisory Board Member Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan attended the opening of the TÜGVA Afyonkarahisar Provincial Representation office. The program continued with speeches by Governor Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı and TÜGVA Afyonkarahisar Provincial Representative Ramazan Sami Çınar.
Following a video presentation, Erdoğan participated in the "Energy, Excitement, Action" talk moderated by Adem Metan alongside TÜGVA President İbrahim Beşinci. When asked about claims that he would enter politics, he said, "We have held TÜGVA openings all across Anatolia."
We have traveled to more than 70 provinces for TÜGVA openings. Actually, our general tempo is like this. The number of boards and non-governmental organizations we are responsible for requires this. I mean, if we were only involved in one non-governmental organization, we would have a weekly meeting. You would spend one day there. Other than that, you would attend to your own business.
But thank God, since I work in many educational institutions and non-governmental organizations, and because I try to do this by being physically present and involved in the work, this requires a significant burden and a lot of running around.
We do this with pleasure. Politicians will run for their politics. We will run for civil society in civil society. We will continue to do this, God willing."
