'Blood money' meeting in fatal accident involving Eylem Tok's son. Father Cihantimur met
Following the revelation that 17-year-old driver T.C., who struck a group checking a broken-down ATV on the shoulder in Eyüpsultan with a luxury SUV, causing one death, was smuggled to the U.S. by his mother, the famous author Eylem Tok, new developments regarding the investigation process have emerged.
Journalist Barış Pehlivan published police records and footage during a Halk TV broadcast. Pehlivan stated, "The father of the child, who went to the U.S. one or two days after the accident involving Eylem Tok's son, met with the father of the deceased young man. The meeting was tense, and it seems the issue we call 'blood money' was brought up."
Pehlivan also stated that the Istanbul Police Department is prioritizing the case and that the police branch of the state will not allow this file to be closed.
Barış Pehlivan said that the deceased young man remained under the vehicle for 1.5 hours and lost his life due to blood loss. He noted that mother Eylem Tok and the other children did not call an ambulance.

In the same broadcast, Pehlivan shared allegations that Tok had also put their house in Kemerburgaz KemerCountry up for sale. Pehlivan said, "There was a letter 'T' on the pillow in the youth room of the house in the listing. It is the initial of the child on the run. But these are not enough. I tried to talk to the person selling the house."
