Aydın Tokay, who was detained yesterday for the crimes of 'intentional injury, threat, and insult' and brought to the hospital by police for a health check, was subjected to an armed attack by G.D., who is stated to be a person with whom he had a feud, as he was about to enter the Emergency Department.
Following G.D.'s indiscriminate and consecutive firing with a handgun, Tokay, 1 hospital employee, and 3 other people were injured. Tokay, who was critically injured after being struck by bullets in various parts of his body, could not be saved despite medical interventions and lost his life, while the perpetrator G.D. was neutralized by police after being shot in the legs.
