Boat rescue operation off the coast of Şile
Two people on a boat drifting due to engine failure off the coast of Şile were successfully rescued by teams from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety. The incident occurred in the morning hours.
In a statement made by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, it was stated that the boat, which was 20 meters long, began to drift as a result of a malfunction. Upon the notification of other mariners who noticed the situation, the fast rescue boat KEGM-5 was immediately dispatched to the scene.

As a result of the meticulous work of the teams, the two people on the drifting boat were safely rescued and taken to Poyrazköy Port. It was stated that the health status of the rescued individuals is good and that no injuries occurred.
