Bodies of sisters who went missing 20 years ago found in Kahramanmaraş
Kahramanmaraş police have determined that two sisters who went missing 20 years ago were murdered and buried. Police recovered the bodies from the burial site and detained 2 suspects.
According to the information obtained, the incident took place in the Sarıkaya area of the central Dulkadiroğlu district.
Teams from the Murder Bureau of the Kahramanmaraş Police Department's Public Security Branch reopened the case regarding the sisters F.A. and G.A., who went missing 20 years ago, on the suspicion that they may have been murdered.
In the investigation conducted under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that the sisters were murdered by individuals named B.Y. and M.D. and buried in the garden of a house in the Sarıkaya area of the Dulkadiroğlu district.
Following this determination, the bodies of the two sisters were found during the excavation carried out in the garden of the house. Both suspects were taken into custody.
The bodies of the sisters were taken to the forensic medicine morgue for autopsy. The interrogation of the suspects at the police station is ongoing.
