The body of Serdar Öktem has been brought to the Council of Forensic Medicine
The body of lawyer Serdar Öktem, who was being tried without arrest in the case regarding the murder of Hacettepe University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Ateş and who lost his life as a result of an armed attack, has been brought to the Council of Forensic Medicine.
Lawyer Serdar Öktem, one of the defendants being tried in the case regarding the murder of Hacettepe University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Ateş, had been subjected to an armed attack in Istanbul.
Öktem, who was seriously injured in the armed attack he was subjected to on Büyükdere Street in Şişli, had lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.
Following the police and prosecutor's investigation there, Öktem's body was taken to the morgue of the Council of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
