Bomb scare on Vatan Avenue! Suspicious bag causes panic
A bag left on the side of the road on Vatan Avenue in Istanbul caused panic. It was learned that the bag, which was detonated by bomb disposal experts using a fuse, contained clothing, and the avenue was reopened to traffic after the teams completed their work.
People who saw a bag on the side of the road on Vatan Avenue in Fatih, Istanbul, around 12:00 p.m. reported it to the authorities.
After police forces arrived at the scene, they closed the avenue to traffic as a precautionary measure.

Bomb disposal experts detonated the bag with a fuse. Pajamas, a water bottle, and a coloring book were found inside the bag.
The avenue was reopened to traffic after the teams completed their work.
