AFAD reported that a 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Baklan district of Denizli.
According to information on the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) website, an earthquake occurred in Denizli at approximately 04:58. The magnitude of the earthquake, centered in the Baklan district, was announced as 4.0.

The tremor was recorded at a depth of 7.8 kilometers below the surface. While the earthquake, which was also felt in surrounding provinces and districts, caused brief panic, it was reported that there have been no negative incidents so far.

Following the 4.0 magnitude earthquake in Denizli, which had its epicenter in the Ertuğrul neighborhood of the Güney district earlier in the morning, numerous aftershocks were also recorded.
