In a statement regarding the earthquake, the Amasya Governor's Office said, "On April 13, 2025, at 17:43, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred with its epicenter in our Taşova district. No reports of any negative incidents have been received following the earthquake, and field scanning efforts are ongoing."
ALİ YERLİKAYA: NO NEGATIVE SITUATION
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya reported that there is "no negative situation at this moment" regarding the 4.6-magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Taşova district of Amasya.
In his statement regarding the 4.6-magnitude earthquake with its epicenter in the Taşova district of Amasya, Yerlikaya included the following remarks:
"A 4.6-magnitude earthquake has occurred in Taşova, Amasya. Regarding the earthquake, which was also felt in Samsun, Tokat, Çorum, and Sivas, all teams from AFAD and our relevant institutions are continuing their field scans. At this moment, there is no negative situation.
I extend my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake. May God protect our country and our nation from disasters."
