Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek is set to appear before the cameras today at 14:30. Gürlek is expected to announce the IMM indictment, which has been a subject of debate for a long time, to the public.
It has been announced that Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek will hold a press conference today.
According to the report by Ceylan Sever from Habertürk, Gürlek is expected to share the indictment regarding the IMM investigation during the press conference he will hold at 14:30.
Sever's post on the subject is as follows:
"Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek will hold a press conference at 14:30. It is almost certain that he will announce the IMM indictment."
HIS FIRST OFFICIAL STATEMENT
This press conference to be held by Akın Gürlek will be his first statement to the public since taking office. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had recently brought various allegations against Gürlek and directed harsh criticisms at him.
WHAT IS IN THE INDICTMENT?
On the other hand, it was alleged that the eagerly awaited IMM indictment was leaked to the pro-government newspaper Yeni Şafak. The newspaper was published with the headline "4,000-page indictment for the heist of the century."

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, however, made a statement regarding the news in question.
In the statement, it was noted that the reports claiming the indictment had been completed were not true and that it was still in the preparation stage.
