Breaking News: Ali Yerlikaya announces: 71 caves of the terrorist organization destroyed in 10 provinces

Gürz-17 operations were carried out against the PKK terrorist organization in 10 provinces.

As a result of the operations, 71 caves, bunkers, and shelters of the terrorist organization were destroyed.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that within the scope of the operation,

1,303 anti-aircraft munitions,

360 hand grenades,

275 kg of explosives prepared for attacks,

141 mines,

80 RPG-7 munitions,

7,624 pieces of ammunition of various sizes and calibers,

2 RPG-7 rocket launchers,

112 rocket propellant motors,

1 PKM machine gun,

9 Kalashnikov infantry rifles,

1 Zagros sniper rifle, and

365 detonators were seized.

Yerlikaya continued as follows:

"As a result of the operations carried out in the rural areas of Şırnak-Center, Güçlükonak, Beytüşşebap, Uludere, Eruh, Pervari, Ömerli, Kızıltepe, Çatak, Hakkari-Center, Yüksekova, Şemdinli, Dörtyol, Belen, Lice, Ovacık, Hozat, Nazımiye, Karlıova, and Doğubayazıt, additionally;

22 IED ignition mechanisms,

3 solar panels,

4 camera trap batteries,

540 meters of fuse (to be used in IED construction),

780 meters of electrical cable,

110 kg of Ammonium Nitrate,

282 gas canisters,

4 pairs of binoculars,

1 weapon-mounted scope,

1 thermal weapon scope, and a large number of organizational documents were seized."
