An improvised explosive device was thrown near the entrance of a police station in Diyarbakır in the evening hours. According to initial reports, there were no casualties in the incident.
Activity in Diyarbakır during the evening hours caused security concerns near the Police Department. An improvised explosive device (IED) was thrown by an unidentified person or persons near the public entrance of the Provincial Police Department located in the city center.
According to initial information obtained from security units, the explosive made a loud noise after hitting the scene, but no injuries or loss of life have occurred so far.
Following the attack, the area was cordoned off.
