Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya reported that a total of 19 people, including the ringleader Barış Boyun, were captured in the operation, consisting of 17 Turkish nationals and 2 Italian nationals who were members of the organized crime group.
Yerlikaya announced that the operation was carried out jointly by the KOM Department, the Interpol-Europol Department, and Italian security authorities.
