COURT SENT THE FILE BACK
According to Cumhuriyet, the court decided to return the file to the prosecutor's office after reviewing the indictment.
It was stated that the indictment requested sentencing for Mehmet Akif Ersoy on charges of establishing and managing a criminal organization, 11 counts of aggravated sexual assault, trafficking or supplying narcotic or stimulant substances, and facilitating the use of narcotic substances.
REASON FOR RETURN NOT YET KNOWN
Defense attorneys stated that there is a confidentiality order on the file and that the court's decision to return it has not been shared with them. The lawyers stated that for this reason, the reason for the return has not yet been learned.
