Breaking News: DEM Party Imrali delegation at Edirne Prison! Meeting with Selahattin Demirtaş has concluded

Following the call by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, the DEM Party delegation, which had visited Imrali to meet with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, has completed its visits in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

The DEM Party delegation, consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan, and former Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Türk—who was replaced by a government-appointed trustee—made Edirne Prison their stop today.

The delegation arrived at Edirne Prison to meet with imprisoned former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş and Selçuk Mızraklı, who was removed from his post as Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and replaced by a trustee.

STATEMENT FROM THE DELEGATION

Following the meeting with former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş and former Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selçuk Mızraklı, the DEM Party delegation made statements.

DEMİRTAŞ WILL MAKE A STATEMENT

Speaking to the cameras after the meeting, Sırrı Süreyya Önder stated, ''Selahattin Demirtaş wanted to convey that his support for the developing process is full and that he contributes to it. Mr. Selahattin will make a statement on his social media account in the coming time. Tomorrow, after visiting Ms. Figen and our other friends, we will make a comprehensive statement in Ankara. There is no loser in peace. We expect support from the public regarding the process. We find everyone's suggestions and criticisms valuable.''

Speaking after Önder, Pervin Buldan included the following remarks:

''Selahattin Demirtaş and Selçuk Mızraklı expressed that they are behind the process. We, on behalf of our delegation, thank Mızraklı and Demirtaş.''
