Director İlker Canikligil was detained on March 25 due to these statements on allegations of "publicly inciting to commit a crime" and "publicly inciting hatred and enmity."

Director Canikligil, who was referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for arrest on charges of "publicly inciting hatred and enmity" and "publicly inciting to commit a crime," was arrested on March 26.
