Breaking News: Ekrem İmamoğlu addresses the business world from Silivri! 'Do not be silent, do not be afraid, do not hesitate'

CHP's presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently imprisoned at Silivri Prison, has shared a new message from the account opened in his name, the Presidential Candidate Office.

In his message, İmamoğlu addressed the business world. Stating, "Do not be silent, do not be afraid, do not hesitate," İmamoğlu said, "This country will eventually emerge from this whirlpool; the nation will assert its will, and this tyrannical mindset will be gone. Let us realize this revolution of democracy and justice together, which will revive the country's hopes."

The full text of İmamoğlu's message is as follows:

"Valuable representatives of our business world;

I know you want to protect your business and your assets.

I know you do not want to have problems with anyone.

I know you want to carry your investments into the future.

I know you do not want to put your family at risk.

I know you do not want to be subjected to unfair and unlawful audits.

But you should also know this very well:

If there is no law, justice, and democracy in this country, none of these have any guarantee. Let no one say 'nothing will happen to me.' It will happen, and it will happen when you least expect it and in a way you least expect. This lawless mindset will pull the rug out from under your feet in an instant. 

Do not be silent, do not be afraid, do not hesitate. This country will eventually emerge from this whirlpool; the nation will assert its will, and this tyrannical mindset will be gone.

Let us realize this revolution of democracy and justice together, which will revive the country's hopes.
