Breaking News: First image of Haluk Levent in custody! Transferred to the courthouse
Haluk Levent, who was in custody as part of a corruption investigation into the Ahbap Association, has been taken to the courthouse following police processing.
A new phase has been reached in the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Ahbap Association. A total of 23 suspects, including the association's president Haluk Levent, who were detained in Bursa on charges of "violating the Law on Associations," "laundering assets derived from crime," and "membership in an organization," were transferred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station were completed.
FINANCIAL REVIEW IN THE INVESTIGATION FILE
The financial reviews included in the investigation file contain notable findings. According to the reviews, it was determined that Haluk Levent placed bets totaling 990 million lira between 2020 and 2026, and incurred a loss of approximately 390 million lira during this period.
In the work carried out by the Financial Crimes Investigation teams, it was also determined that 120 million lira was transferred from the official account of the Ahbap Association to the account of Haluk Levent's assistant, Yeliz Kaya.
TAKEN TO THE COURTHOUSE AFTER HEALTH CHECK
One of the suspects detained as part of the investigation was released after police processing. The 23 suspects, including Haluk Levent, who remain in custody, were sent to the hospital for health checks.

The suspects, who were filmed by members of the press as they left the hospital, were taken to the courthouse for questioning after their medical procedures were completed.
