"WHAT WE ARE EXPERIENCING IS ENTIRELY POLITICAL AND AN ASSASSINATION OF CHARACTER"
Making a statement via the social media platform X, Adıgüzel used the following expressions:
"My dear Ataşehir neighbors,
From the first day I took office until today, I have worked day and night for the children, youth, women, and elderly of our Ataşehir with a public-oriented municipal approach.
Today, our Atatürk Library was going to open its doors to the youth, and I was going to experience the excitement of this first day together with the youth today.
However, like my other friends who are being held in custody unfairly and unlawfully, I am away from you today due to various slanders.
My Ataşehir neighbors know me very well. What we are experiencing is entirely political and an assassination of character. The truth will come out sooner or later, and we will meet again.
Onursal ADIGÜZEL"
