The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the Ankara Deputy Provincial Police Chief, the Organized Crime Branch Manager, the Deputy Branch Manager, and a police commissioner who were suspended as part of the probe.
The police chiefs and the commissioner are accused of conspiring to commit a crime, attempting to influence fair trial and witnesses, misconduct in office, and harboring a criminal.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants for 4 individuals, and the suspects have been taken into custody.
In a written statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated: “Detention warrants have been issued by our Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for 4 public officials serving in the Ankara Police Department's Organized Crime Branch regarding the allegations mentioned in the statement of secret witness S.S., and the detention orders have been executed. The investigation process is being carried out meticulously.”
