Breaking News: General amnesty statement from Yılmaz Tunç
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç stated, "There is no new execution regulation or general amnesty situation in question."
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made statements to journalists before the AKP Group Meeting.
Speaking about the 'new execution regulation' claims that came to the agenda following the statement by MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız that '50 thousand more people will be released,' Yılmaz Tunç said, "There will be no execution regulation in the 12th Judicial Package. A new execution law is not in question right now, and amnesty rumors are not in question."
MHP's Feti Yıldız had stated in his remarks yesterday (January 6), "We made an execution regulation, 50 thousand people are being released, 50 thousand more will be released. What I am talking about is the Execution Law. If we enact an Execution Law, the execution regulation will be included in it. We will get rid of these issues, it will be orderly."
