The first comment regarding the trustee appointed to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency has come from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) front.

Former CHP Chairman Hikmet Çetin met with MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız.

During the meeting, Yıldız told Çetin regarding the removal of Özgür Çelik and the appointment of Gürsel Tekin, "Appointing a trustee is not right."

In his statement following the meeting, Çetin said, "Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu wants to take over the party. Mr. Kemal is not speaking at all. I suspect he has such an intention, but it would be very bad; he would not be able to go out in public."
