Halkın Kurtuluş Partisi (HKP) Chairman Nurullah Efe Ankut announced that he has been detained.
The moments when Ankut was detained at 02:00 AM were shared on his social media account.
The following statements were included in the post:
"Tayyip is having us detained once again at two in the morning. It is understood that, as we expected, he will throw us into his dungeon.
But let him not have any hope that he will escape from us. Sooner or later, we will introduce him and all his cronies to the 'Steel Bracelet' (handcuffs). We will bring him before an impartial and independent judiciary for the thousand and one crimes he has committed, including selling out the homeland.
These people, Tayyip and his cronies at the top, will be tried and convicted for the betrayal they have committed to date against the Republic of Turkey, the Kuvayimilliye, our ancestors, our homeland, and our people, with demands for dozens of aggravated life sentences. There will never be any escape or salvation for them.
And my heart's Sultan, just as you have always been for 54 years, I will keep my heart and my soul warm with you even in Tayyip's dungeon..."
