Breaking News... Indictment accepted in the Ferdi Zeyrek case
The trial of 10 defendants, 2 of whom are in custody, regarding the electrocution accident that resulted in the death of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, will begin on December 5.
The indictment prepared by the Manisa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the investigation into the death of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, who lost his life after being electrocuted, has been accepted by the Manisa 5th High Criminal Court. Within the scope of the indictment, 10 individuals with responsibilities related to the accident will stand trial.
Among the defendants in custody are N.B., who installed and assembled the pool's electrical and motor systems, and H.I., who performed repairs on the pool motor. Additionally, 8 defendants who are not in custody will also be tried as part of the case.
FIRST HEARING DATE SET
The court will hold the first hearing for the defendants on Friday, December 5. At the hearing, all defendants will appear before the judge to respond to the charges.
