Breaking News: Investigation launched into Özgür Özel's allegations against Mücahit Birinci!
An investigation has been launched following allegations made by CHP leader Özgür Özel regarding AKP member Mücahit Birinci. In a statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that "an investigation will be conducted regarding the meeting process between Murat Kapki and Mücahit Birinci."
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, in a statement referencing the AKP's founding anniversary, alleged that Mücahit Birinci, who has held various positions within the party, offered Murat Kapki, who is currently detained as part of an Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) investigation, a deal to "slander and we will give you 2 million dollars and you will be saved from this." Özel also presented to the public a document in which Kapki details these allegations.
