Journalist Alican Uludağ, who was detained in Ankara yesterday evening on charges of "publicly insulting the President," "publicly disseminating misleading information to the public," and "degrading state institutions," had been brought to Istanbul.
Following his processing at the police station, Uludağ was referred to the courthouse, where his statement to the prosecutor concluded. Uludağ was then referred to the Criminal Court of Peace with a request for his arrest.
It was learned that Uludağ was questioned by the prosecutor regarding 22 social media posts.
