Journalist Barış Terkoğlu has been detained. It was stated that the reason for Terkoğlu's detention was a YouTube broadcast.
Journalist Barış Pehlivan made the following statements after Barış Terkoğlu was detained:
'Shame on you! My friend, journalist Barış Terkoğlu, has been detained. The reason is the news video published on Onlar last night. Instead of detaining and investigating corrupt public officials, they want to silence the journalists who expose them and work for a clean society. And the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is doing this over a piece of news that it confirmed itself. Cut off one of Barış's hands; he will still tell the truth with his other hand, his voice, his gaze, and his ideas, and he will continue to do so,' he said.
