Breaking News: Key figure of the ABK criminal organization, Serdar Sertçelik, brought to Turkey
Serdar Sertçelik, one of the leaders of the Ayhan Bora Kaplan criminal organization, who was wanted internationally via a Red Notice and held in custody in Hungary, has been extradited to Turkey as part of an ongoing operation.
Serdar Sertçelik, identified as one of the high-level figures of the organized crime structure led by Ayhan Bora Kaplan and subject to a Red Notice, has been brought to Turkey from the prison where he was held in Hungary.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced the development on his social media account. In his statement, Yerlikaya reported that as a result of a joint effort conducted by the General Directorate of Security's Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), the Interpol-Europol Department, and the Hungarian police, Sertçelik was handed over to the country.

Sertçelik, who faced charges of “membership in an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, intentional homicide, and killing to conceal a crime or destroy evidence,” was captured and arrested in Hungary on May 25, 2024.
