Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that Sait Emiri, the leader of an organized crime group that operated illegal betting in Iran and laundered the proceeds in Turkey, was captured in İzmir as part of the 'Kartel-6' operation.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that 4 people, including Emiri, have been arrested, and judicial control measures have been imposed on 6 others.
Yerlikaya announced that as part of the operation, 120 thousand dollars, 80 thousand Euros, 9 luxury watches worth 500 thousand dollars, 15 companies, 10 vehicles, 17 real estate properties, and 9 company partnership shares were seized.
Yerlikaya's statement is as follows;
