Breaking News... Malatya shaken by 3.5 magnitude earthquake
A 3.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Doğanşehir, one of the regions with the highest earthquake risk in Malatya.
The Doğanşehir district of Malatya has been one of the regions that experts have been closely monitoring for some time. Another tremor was felt today in this district, where warnings regarding an expected major earthquake have become more frequent.
According to data from the Kandilli Observatory, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.5 kilometers at approximately 10:58 in the Küçüklü neighborhood of Doğanşehir. The earthquake caused brief panic in the district and its surroundings.

NACİ GÖRÜR HAD WARNED
Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür had previously stated in his remarks regarding the Akçadağ and Doğanşehir districts of Malatya that there is still an unbroken fault in this region and that an earthquake of magnitude 6 or greater is expected there.
