Following the resignation of İzzet Ulvi Yönter from his post in the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), another striking development has occurred.
MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın announced that the MHP's Istanbul provincial organization and its 39 district organizations have been dissolved.
In a statement on his X account, Yalçın said, "The Nationalist Movement Party Istanbul Provincial Organization and 39 District Organizations have been dissolved pursuant to the authority granted by Articles 52 and 54 of our party charter, and in accordance with Article 34 of our charter. Respectfully announced to the public."
