Breaking News... Middle East in flames: Israel strikes Iran again, explosion sounds heard in Tabriz

Following the missile attack carried out by Iran in the early hours of the morning, Israel targeted the city of Tabriz in western Iran again around 12:00. While loud explosion sounds were heard from the city, official Iranian sources have moved to a state of alert in the region.

IRAN HAD LAUNCHED ITS FIFTH WAVE OF ATTACKS IN THE MORNING HOURS

In the air operations launched by Israel in the early hours, the Iranian cities of Tabriz, Shiraz, and Borujerd were targeted. It was reported that at least 20 high-ranking commanders belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps lost their lives in the attacks, which specifically targeted airports. The Iranian administration characterized the attacks as a “direct declaration of war.”

The Israeli Ministry of Defense, meanwhile, warned the public that “one must be prepared for a long-term operation.”

RETALIATION WITH MISSILES ON TEL AVIV: 3 DEAD, 91 INJURED

In response to the attacks, Iran carried out a ballistic missile attack targeting the south of Tel Aviv. According to the Israeli state television KAN, some buildings were directly hit in the attacks.

In an official statement made in the morning hours, it was announced that 2 people had lost their lives and 21 people were injured as a result of the attack. As the hours progressed, the toll worsened: the death toll rose to 3, and the number of injured rose to 91. It was reported that 3 of the injured are in critical condition.

EVERY REGION OF ISRAEL IS A TARGET

The Israeli army announced that missiles coming from Iran targeted the northern, southern, and central regions of the country. The Israeli press wrote that missiles were launched from Iran in three separate salvos within just 15 minutes in the morning hours.

STERN WARNING FROM IRAN TO THE US, FRANCE, AND THE UK

The Iranian administration warned that there would be severe consequences if there were interference in the regional tension. In an official note sent to France, the US, and the UK, it was declared that if support for Israel continues, military bases and warships in the region would be targeted.

LEBANON REOPENS AIRSPACE

Lebanon, which closed its airspace late yesterday due to the rising tension in the region, has signaled normalization. Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh announced that after consultations with the Civil Aviation Authority, the airspace was reopened to flights as of 10:00 on Saturday morning.
