ISPARTA MAYOR BAŞDEĞİRMEN: ALL TEAMS ARE IN THE REGION
Isparta Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen stated that they received information that a military helicopter had crashed in the Keçiborlu district and announced that all of the municipality's fire and search-and-rescue teams had been directed to the area.
Mayor Başdeğirmen noted that search-and-rescue teams were on their way and that they were awaiting further information. Başdeğirmen stated that there was no information yet regarding the number of personnel on board the helicopter.
6 PERSONNEL MARTYRED
Isparta Governor Abdullah Emin announced in a statement that there were 6 martyrs.
Speaking on an A Haber broadcast, Governor Erin explained that the accident occurred after two training helicopters made contact with each other. He stated, "We were unable to reach our school commander. We have finally reached him as well. Unfortunately, our number of martyrs has risen to 6."
BRIGADIER GENERAL İSA BAYDİLLİ MARTYRED
It was learned that Brigadier General İsa Baydilli, the Commander of the Isparta Army Aviation School, was among those who were martyred in the accident.
