Speaking in Karabük, Yumaklı stated that 7 fires in 6 provinces have been brought under control.
Providing information on the ongoing fires, Yumaklı reported that the fire in Safranbolu is continuing and that intervention efforts were carried out throughout the night.
Speaking about the fire in Gazipaşa, Antalya, Yumaklı said, “Interventions continued throughout the night. With the first light of morning, helicopter intervention has begun.”
Reporting that the fire that broke out at night in the Silifke district of Mersin reached the forest area from outside the forest zone, Yumaklı announced that the fires in Safranbolu, Gazipaşa, and Silifke are ongoing and do not pose a threat to residential areas.
