Breaking News... Multi-vehicle traffic accident in Istanbul: 2 people lost their lives
2 people lost their lives and 4 others were injured in a traffic accident involving 6 vehicles on the TEM Highway in Istanbul.
A traffic accident involving 3 vehicles occurred for an as-yet undetermined reason on the Ankara-bound section of the highway near İSTOÇ. While the drivers of these vehicles were filling out an accident report, 3 other cars traveling in the same direction struck these vehicles and the drivers.
It was determined that A.A. lost their life at the scene of the accident.
The 6 injured individuals were transported to nearby hospitals by medical teams. N.G., who was seriously injured, could not be saved despite medical intervention at the hospital. It was learned that the condition of one of the injured, H.G., is also critical.
Due to the accident, 3 lanes of the highway in the direction of Ankara were closed, and traffic flow was maintained through a single lane for a time.
Traffic flow returned to normal after the vehicles were removed by tow trucks and the road was cleared.
