An ex officio investigation was launched into Mahruki by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

It was learned that a detention warrant was issued for Mahruki within the scope of the investigation on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting."
Mahruki, who was taken into custody, was brought to Bayrampaşa State Hospital for a health check. Following the health check, he was transferred to the police station.
