According to breaking news, Cengiz Demirci, the Turkey manager of the operating company, has been taken into custody following the mining disaster in the İliç district of Erzincan.
On February 13, 9 workers were left under the rubble following a landslide at the mining site operated by Anagold Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in the İliç district of Erzincan.
Following the investigation launched into the disaster, 6 out of 8 people detained were arrested, and Cengiz Demirci, the Turkey manager of the Canadian company operating the gold mine, has been taken into custody.
