Breaking News: New development regarding the 3 police chiefs detained in the Ayhan Bora Kaplan investigation!

A new development has occurred in the Ayhan Bora Kaplan investigation, which has dominated Turkey's agenda and caused an earthquake effect within the Ankara Police Department.

The investigation initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following allegations by Serdar Sertçelik, a fugitive defendant in the case concerning the Ayhan Bora Kaplan criminal organization, on charges of "conspiracy to commit a crime," "attempting to influence fair trial and witnesses," "misconduct in office," and "harboring a criminal" is ongoing.

The police procedures for 3 of the 7 suspects currently in custody as part of the investigation have been completed.

The 3 police officers detained following the allegations of Serdar Sertçelik, a fugitive defendant in the case opened against the Ayhan Bora Kaplan criminal organization, were brought to the Ankara Courthouse in the morning hours.

The suspects, whose interrogations were completed at the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch, are providing statements to the public prosecutor conducting the investigation at the courthouse.

It was learned that the procedures for taking the statements of the other suspects are continuing at the Counter-Terrorism Branch and that they will be referred to the courthouse once their procedures are completed.
