BREAKING NEWS... Number of arrests in Bolu hotel tragedy rises to 9

The investigation into the hotel tragedy that occurred in Bolu Kartalkaya continues.

According to the statement, it was reported that the number of arrests in the investigation has risen to 9.

WHO WAS ARRESTED?

As part of the investigation conducted by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the fire that broke out on January 21 at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the ski resort, hotel manager Zeki Yılmaz, hotel accounting manager Kadir Özdemir, chef Faysal Yaver, electrician Hüseyin Özer, and kitchen staff Yusuf Karahanlı, Fidan Kurç, and Mehmet Gündüz were arrested after their interrogations at the prosecutor's office were completed and they were referred to the duty magistrate.

Thus, the number of those arrested in the case has risen to 9, including business owner Halit Ergül and company general manager Emir Aras.

1 PERSON RELEASED

Occupational safety specialist E.K. was released under judicial control conditions.

The procedures for 4 of those detained are ongoing at the gendarmerie.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The investigation into the hotel fire at the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Resort, in which 78 people lost their lives, is ongoing. 14 people had been detained as part of the investigation.
