Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that an operation was carried out against the Barış Turgut Organized Crime Organization in Mersin.

Stating that 38 suspects, including the ringleader of the organization, were captured in raids conducted simultaneously at designated addresses, Yerlikaya announced that 17 of them have been arrested.
