Within the scope of the operation, 59 people were detained, including Union of Municipalities of Turkey President and Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Vahap Seçer, Yenişehir Mayor Abdullah Özyiğit, and Mezitli Mayor Ahmet Serkan Tuncer.
