HE HAD RECEIVED TREATMENT FOR 38 DAYS
Pope Francis, who had been struggling with serious health problems for some time, was hospitalized in February with a diagnosis of bilateral pneumonia and received treatment for 38 days. During this period, he faced life-threatening situations twice, but was discharged on March 23.
Despite his health problems, Pope Francis continued his duties and, just one day before his death, had met with US Vice President JD Vance, who was on an official visit to the Vatican.
