Breaking News: Sixth meeting of the resolution commission has begun
The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) as part of the resolution process, has convened for the sixth time. Bar association presidents will be heard during the meeting.
The sixth meeting of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission has begun.
In today's meeting of the commission, which was established as part of the new resolution process dubbed 'Terror-Free Turkey' by the government, Union of Turkish Bar Associations President Erinç Sağkan and the bar association presidents of Ankara No. 2, Bingöl, Diyarbakır, Hatay, Istanbul No. 2, Malatya, Mardin, Mersin, Van, and Sivas will be heard.
TBB President Sağkan will speak for 20 minutes at the commission, while the other bar association presidents will each have 10 minutes to speak.
Delivering the opening speech of the meeting, TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş said, 'The contribution of the legal community, especially the bar associations, will be beneficial.'
