Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a statement regarding the tragedy in Gebze where 4 people lost their lives, saying, "I am not sharing information with the public out of concern that it might influence the outcome of the investigation. It is a purely technical matter. We do not find it appropriate to be prejudiced before seeing the results."
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made statements to journalists before the AKP group meeting at the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
Uraloğlu responded to the "metro construction" allegations regarding the collapsed building in Gebze that caused the deaths of 4 members of a 5-person family.
Stating that one should not be prejudiced, Uraloğlu said, "It is a purely technical matter. We do not find it appropriate to be prejudiced before seeing the results. We are not sharing information with the public, especially out of concern that it might influence the outcome of the investigation that has been initiated. We are following the process closely. Let us not mislead the public."
