Supporters of the terrorist organization SDG/YPG carried out an attack on the Turkish flag at the Nusaybin-Qamishli border. While public reaction against the treacherous attack, in which the Turkish flag was taken down, continues to grow, the Ministry of National Defense issued a statement on the matter.
"AN ORGANIZED PROVOCATION"
The statement from the Ministry of National Defense included the following: "The illegal border crossing attempt by a group of terrorist organization sympathizers in Nusaybin and the attack on our flag located in the former customs area is an organized provocation targeting the sensitivities of our nation. The perpetrators of the incident have been identified by the relevant institutions of our state, and the necessary action is being taken."
STATEMENT ON THE SULEYMAN SHAH TOMB
Regarding the status of the Suleyman Shah Tomb, the Ministry stated: "We are closely monitoring the ongoing developments in Syria. If appropriate conditions are met on the ground, the necessary action will be taken regarding this matter."
