Tremors continue in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir.
According to data from AFAD, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 occurred at 10:06. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 6.97 kilometers.

The tremor was also felt in surrounding provinces.
Following the earthquake, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated, "A 4.9 magnitude earthquake has occurred in Sındırgı, Balıkesir. Regarding the earthquake, which was also felt in surrounding provinces, all teams from AFAD and our relevant institutions have immediately begun field surveys. I extend my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake."
Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu also reported that there were no negative situations.
