As a result of a situation that remains unclear—whether it was due to the high cost of the equipment required for match broadcasting or an unexpected technical failure—the Sakaryaspor-Keçiörengücü match was delivered to sports fans by the broadcaster using footage captured with a mobile phone.

In footage shared by the social media account SportsDigitale, it can be seen that beIN SPORTS broadcast the Sakaryaspor - Keçiörengücü match using a mobile phone.

THE REASON BEHIND THE MOBILE PHONE BROADCAST HAS BEEN REVEALED

Following the revelation that the Super Lig broadcaster delivered the league match to fans via mobile phone footage, numerous posts were made reacting to the situation. Sports editor Vahittin Çiçek explained the reason behind this situation in a post on his social media account with the following statements:

"The reason for the broadcast crisis:

Yesterday, beIN and TRT signed a contract for the 1st League. For this reason, beIN did not send a broadcast vehicle to the stadium; TRT was supposed to handle the filming. However, due to payment issues, TRT lost the broadcasting rights. beIN stepped in, saying, 'We will broadcast the match no matter what.'"
