Brutality in Konya: He stabbed his wife multiple times
A woman sitting in a pharmacy in Konya was stabbed multiple times by her husband. The male violence was captured on camera.
The incident took place on Wednesday, August 28, at a pharmacy in the Akademi neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district.
According to allegations, Keziban A., a mother of four, took her husband, Ecir A., to the hospital for his appointment at the psychiatry clinic after finishing her night shift. The couple entered the pharmacy to pick up the medication prescribed by the doctor, where they began to argue. As the argument escalated, Ecir A. pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed his wife several times. Following the incident, Ecir A. fled the pharmacy. Keziban A. was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where it was determined that she had sustained injuries to her abdomen and arm.
It was learned that Keziban A., who was discharged from the hospital after her treatment, had obtained a restraining order against her husband one week before the incident, and that she had stated her husband was cheating on her and that they were constantly arguing. Ecir A. was apprehended by the police, referred to the courthouse, and subsequently arrested by the court and sent to prison.
