Budget negotiations are beginning at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The budget marathon will last 12 days.

Political party leaders and deputies have begun arriving at the TBMM for the budget negotiations. The chairmen of the IYI Party, DEM Party, Saadet Party, and CHP will speak at the General Assembly. The session will be presided over by TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who shook hands with DEM Party deputies and made a call regarding terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan during the opening of the TBMM on October 2, did not shake hands this time.

According to Sözcü, it was learned that after AKP deputies went to Bahçeli, DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan looked at the MHP group and then sat in their seats.

CHP leader Özgür Özel arrived at the general assembly hall accompanied by the applause of CHP deputies. It was noted that AKP members Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu and Abdullah Güler welcomed Özel.

DEM Party's Sezai Temelli made the statement, "The previous handshake took place at the closing. At openings, the usual protocols were followed."

BAHÇELİ HAD TARGETED THE DEM PARTY

Bahçeli had targeted the DEM Party in the speech he gave at his party's latest group meeting.

Bahçeli had said the following:

"The DEM still has not been able to determine where it stands. The developments have nothing to do with our Kurdish brothers. Life is forbidden for the separatist terrorist organization. Kurds are our dear ones, the PKK and PYD are our mortal enemies. The DEM Party will either become a party of Turkey or it will disappear. Either terrorism will end, or the terrorists will not be able to escape being live targets one by one."
