Buffet worker saves passenger who fell into the sea with his own hands
In an incident on the Eskihisar coast of Kocaeli, the ferry's buffet worker came to the rescue of a passenger who fell into the sea from the ferry. Both individuals were brought to shore by the Coast Guard and transported to the hospital.
Moments of tension occurred off the coast of Eskihisar, one of Kocaeli's important transportation routes. A person traveling on a ferry in motion suddenly fell into the sea. The buffet worker on duty on the ferry, who witnessed the incident, jumped into the water without hesitation and rushed to help the passenger who had fallen.
Upon the immediate notification of the situation by those nearby, Coast Guard Command teams reached the area in a short time. The teams took the two people struggling in the sea onto their boat and brought them safely to the shore.
While the identities of both rescued individuals were not disclosed, they were transported to the hospital for emergency intervention by medical teams from the Eskihisar Fishermen's Shelter.
